Pool heaters make swimming pool water enjoyable all year round, no matter the outside temperature. Pool heaters conduct heat into a stream of water that flows through them. By adjusting the intensity of the heat and the rate of flow, the pool's temperature can be precisely controlled.

Types of Heaters

Electric heaters such as heat pumps are used on pools & spas. They are a little slower at heating your pool. The heat is conducted directly into the water via an electric coil, which is immersedat all times. Electric heaters are very energy efficient.
Gas pool heaters use either natural gas or propane. As the pump circulates the pool's water, the water drawn from the pool passes through a filter and then to the heater. The gas burns in the heater's combustion chamber, generating heat that transfers to the water that's returned to the pool.
